Big News : Mother's Name is mandatory in all Documents with new format

If you remember, we used to put the mother's name in separate columns in different forms such as birth certificates, school-related certificates, government documents, etc. 

To give full credibility to mothers and to give more respect to single mothers, the government of Maharashtra has decided to change the format of the name to provide in these documents

Earlier format: Name |Fathers Name |Surname    Mothers Name

New format: Name |Mothers Name |Fathers Name |Surname

These changes apply to all people born after the 1^st of May 2024, It will be applicable for the below-mentioned documents 

1. Birth Certificate 

2. School Admission form

3. Educational documents 

4. Land 7/12 extract, property documents 

5. Government/Semi-Government Service books 

6. All government/Semi govt. employee salary slip

7. Ration Card

8. Death Certificate
